Ace Catering was founded in 2001 in Whiting, Indiana. At that point, Ray Kosinski was making pizzas and catering small events under the name Portside Grill and Catering. The company named changed to Ace Catering in 2002. 
 
For over a decade, Ace Catering has adopted 14 banquet halls in the Northwest Indiana and the Chicagoland area.
